2009 Women of the World Poetry Slam |
|
March 18-21, 2009, Detroit, Michigan The Women of the World Poetry Slam is almost here! The Motor City is once again welcoming the newest PSi event to her stages. I was lucky enough to witness the show last year, and I was blown away by it. Do yourself a favor and get to Detroit for the best poetry has to offer.
I think Lashaun phoenix Moore put it best, "This festival is about celebrating ourselves as mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and artists. It's about strutting our stuff, displaying our wits and reawakening the creative Goddess within. It's about great poetry, great music and great fellowship. This week it's all about the woman in you.
Women of the World Poetry Slam: A tournament created for women, facilitated by women, honoring women. " Check out more festival info at the official site. |
