NYC-Urbana changes Slam Masters

NYC-Urbana has officially changed SlamMasters. Shappy, longtime bartender at the Bowery Poetry Club and emcee of the Urbana slam, has taken over for Taylor Mali. Taylor will remain on the organizing committee. Although the Bowery Poetry Club offers poetry programming every night of the week, Urbana's slam is currently Thursdays from 7:01 to 9:30 pm. There is some talk of moving the slam to Tuesdays, but that has not been made official.
