international development of poetry slam
I think we need to have a familly discussion about international rules :
in Europe i see too many events they call "poetry slam" with music or no time rule or not a one poem at a time rules. Sometimes in these events poets who are not "slam poets" are guests and slam poets are not even accepted.
I don't want the spirit of poetry slam to be killed and that's why I propose an approbation of the psi only for the events who use the rules of the regulars poetry slam:
1. poetry competitions
2. original poetry
3. no music
4. one poem at a time
5. 3mns time limit
6. in an international poetry slam the requirement for inscription is the pre selection in the psi rules
7. for this international event the poems should be translated and projected back side of the poet in the original language plus in the country's language, plus in english.
