Special Local Events (Southwest Region)
« on: March 08, 2007, 12:52:17 PM »
This is the thread to use to let the Southwest community know about special local events. Please don't dilute it with postings about every local event. That's what the links section of Poetryslam.com can do for you. Your certified or registered event can certainly get a link from poetryslam.com by signing up at http://www.poetryslam.com/modules.php?name=Web_Links and we also post a lot of links to events from others not officially connected to PSI.

We accept postings in the following categories over there:

· Big Invitational Poetry Slams
PSI members hosting big one-time Invitational Slams should post links to the event here. This is not for regular, monthly or weekly slams.

· Friends of Slam
These links can include other major poetry sites, commercial ventures that are Slam related, etc.

· History of Slam
As long as they last, these links are to the "good old days."

· Member Poets Links
Link to your personal page here.

· PSI Events
These are the links to the current websites in support of Poetry Slam, Inc. programs and events on the artistic horizon.

· Regional Poetry Slams
Links to big regional events held all over the United States and the world.

· Slam Multimedia Sites
These places have streaming or downloadable Slam materials in audio or video formats. Some might have still pics.

· Venues
Venue links for PSI?

· What a Writer Should Know
Get the truth about things like copyrights, plagiarism, assigning rights...all the things writers should know but don't.
