Registration is not open yet. I think it opens 1 Jan. but I could be wrong. PSI will announce the date registration opens. The registration form will be in the PSI store. See the quote below from another thread regarding the WOW slam.

For example, the tournament is inviting a number of "legacy poets," women who used to be active in slam who have not been around for several years. Those invitations come off the top of the invitation list, then certified venues who hold an open competition have a number of reserved slots. (Those will be filled first come, first served). Finally, a few slots will be open for any member of PSI who is a woman or lives her life as a woman. That criteria is likely toinvolve foreign nations and distance from the tournament.

I don't think the dates are determined yet. If they have been established, they haven't been made public. No, iWPS was never scheduled for Oct. 2007.
The focus now is the WOWs in March 2008. Hope to see you in Chicago for this wonderful new event.

SlamCharlotte is seeking photos from NPS 2007. I am working on a photo album for our sponsors and would also like to post pics to the photo section of our yahoo group.
Our primary goal is to get additional pics of the team performing but we are also interested in any and all pics from NPS 2007.
If you have pics you don't mind sharing, please send them to me back channel or give me the link where they can be accessed.

The host city and PSI staff are working on the final rankings. There is discussions being held currently.
I'm sure the final rankings will be posted as soon as they are finalized.

SlamCharlotte: per diem, plane tickets, hotel, registration
We had 4 sponsors this year that covered the majority of the hotel, registration, and plane tickets.
We have a Carolina Slam Tour (a mock slam between the Carolina teams) every June that travels to 4-5 cities and ticket sales are spilt between the competing teams.
SlamCharlotte and Respect Da Mic did a show case and ticket sales were spilt.

Bluz and I started our fundraising efforts for our 2008 team on Monday. We have learned that the earlier we start the better.
We are planning to apply for 501c3 status and that will open the door for additional grants and sponsorships.
Our poets pay for their own membership, however we will pay for the associate level membership for our grand slam champ starting in April 2008.
