To all Travelers and Wandering Gypsies:

There is a New Slam/Poetry Venue in Michigan. The SpitFire Poetry Slam in East Lansing, Mi
We rock on the 1st & 3rd Wed of the Month, so if you are rolling through Michigan, and are looking for a feature get at me,

it works well if you are featuring at Ann Arbor, because Ace Deuce meets the 1st Tuesday of the Month, & SpitFire meets the first Wednesday, and we are only about 45 minutes apart.. so you could do 1, and then come down  do the other... anywho.. if your interested let me know..

so we've talked about the Simpson's References, and the LAW & ORDER ref.. and of course Black & White form last year... but there is a new one.. video games...

so i'm playing Saints Row today.. Xbox 360's version of GTA: Vice City, you're part of this gang, that is trying to clean up the ther gangs in the city.. kinda like pissed off  Guardian Angels with uzis....

and there is a part where you're driving around downtown figjhting off another gang.. when a passerby yells out

"I Knew this was a bad day to go to the poetry slam". ...

after last year, i resolved not to talk smack to Eric Darby or the city of Boston....seeing as Lizard Lounge won our bout with a tribute to Bruce Lee....
and eric well lets just say because of darby many of lansing homeless are well dressed, and i don't have anymore Rain Parkas or Windbreakers...

so this year i'm gonna try something new.. .talking smack to a city that doesn't have a slam team registered....

to was good to break bread with everyone agin, see old freinds, meet some new ones, and to laugh all night at nick fox holding court in the blue lobby!

i hate being in the real world and can't wait to kick it with everyone again....

as of right now i'm enjoying the memoris, the pictures, and i'm enjoying some of the video  (in my home only, as the regulations state)and i'm pouring out a little liquor for the greatest hotel on the planet... da Blueeee...
