General Discussion / Knoxville needs Features
« on: August 31, 2006, 10:17:13 AM »
Hello all my fellow poets....I have been spending the last 2 years rebuilding the Knoxville Poetry Slam and we are looking for out of town features to come through every 3rd Friday of the month.  I actually have two venue nights, 1st and 3rd Friday from 6:30pm - 9:00pm but I want to leave the 1st Fridays open for local poets, if possible.  However, if you can only come on a first Friday, I can be accomodating.

So here's my deal...I don't have a huge scene but we do alright.  I can provide $100 for the feature and $25 for travel.  You can sell merchandise and we will pass around a hat at the end of the night as well.  I am not going to put you up in a hotel, but I do have a comfortable home that you can stay in for the whole weekend if you so choose.

My calendar is open starting in October and I really would love to see some awesome features come through.  Hit me up at admin@blacksunshine.org if you are interested.  Later peoples!
