I'm on the periphery of a semi-regular event here in Orlando called "Yes Yes Y'all" - it's usually a rap showcase that draws in some out-of-staters along with local talent. The organizer, Veronica Smith (former Orlando team member herself) has asked me about helping to organize a spoken word edition of the show. It's still in planning stages, but there will be $$$ involved.

So! Any touring poets veering close to the Florida area in mid-late October? If you're what she's looking for, we'll make it worth your while. Drop me a message here or reply and I will pretend to know things.
