General Discussion / Re: Boogers and Turds (and other rules questions)

I'd actually argue that boogers and turds are NOT props, based on the "naked in a room" theory. If they are part of your body when you get to the stage, it's cool.

You left Patrick off the running totals.

You should have it now.

To be clear, though, you can make up any rules you want for your local slam, AND you can make up any rules you want for your W&YI, as long as all teams agree. Nothing says you have to run a W&YI by PSi rules.

I'm not trying to be obnoxious (too late!), but I thought there really was an intent around requiring a slam to be open to all ages in order to be NPS-eligible (though exceptions are pretty regularly granted). Is that covered over in venue certification instead?

Since we're being pedantic, the rulebook says that the slam or reading series needs to be open to all ages, not that the team itself needs to be.

But yes, it's unclear and should use an update.

NPS has been off-limits to under-18 poets for years. It has to do with insurance or liability or something like that, but it's pretty clearly stated in the rulebook.

If you wish to have an NPS on the West Coast, perhaps you should bid on NPS. AFAIK, nobody out West has asked to host NPS since Albuquerque.

All right, everyone above this line should have access. Please post again if you do not.

Are the new officers in place? If so, can someone please tell us who they are?

I'd like to amend my previous post to specify myself as co-slammaster along with Bianca Mikhan.   We should both be able to have access, in accordance with yesterday's vote during the Slammasters' Meeting to allow 2 people from each slam venue to have access to the slammasters forum.

You should have access. I can add Bianca if she posts here.

I'm confused. Is this just a forum access issue (which I can fix), or is there a larger problem (which is someone other than I)?
