Ballabajoomba Poetry Slam
The 1st and the 3rd Friday of each month (occasionally other Fridays)

Open Mic 8-8:30 p.m; Open Slam 8:30-11:00
Each slam max 16 poets; cuts determined by the number of poets who signed up for a given slam and the time. Usually three rounds with the final cut to 3.
Slamoff determines who qualifies for the team to travel to NPS. To qualify for the slamoff, a poet must read 5 times during the year or make three times the cut to the top 3. Semis narrow down the field to 9-10, the final slamoff determines the team. If one of the top 4 poets cannot go to the Nationals, the next highest ranked poet is qualified for the team.
