A BIG thanks to the folks in Cleveland for joining the ranks of people willing to step up to the plate and host one of these events. There is no version of this that does not involve the sweat of lots of people, and it is my fervent hope that you will receive twice as many thanks as you do anything else.

Also, congrats to our new champion Chris August!

My personal bias? Happy when a PSi event can happen in such a way that your Executive Director has to head there through my house. A little larger? Chris August has been building to this for ten years. Well done, friend.

This was an incredible event!  It was great to be back in my home town, even though I barely recognized it.   Looking forward to seeing how the upcoming casinos breathe new life into the downtown area and plan to be back in the near future!  The Cleveland poets and staff were wonderful and those burgers at the Clevelander were indescribable!

As for the tournament itself, incredible poets all around!  Congrats to everyone who competed!

Thanks to all of the crew in Cleveland.   Years of work!   And thanks to all of the help from around the country to help make this all run as smoothly as we know it should.   And kudos to Chris and Jesse and all the others who made for a great finals night.
   Clevelander burgers!   I had the "Stosh"  -a burger with a couple of pierogies on top!!  Had to try it!
   Beers weren't bad either....
