Thank you to our poetry fam for allowing NUPIC to once again be a highlight of love for our national gathering. You all/we keep making this event something spectacular and filled with the ingredients of legend. NUPIC is a community event, for if we don't work together, nor communicate, it won't be the success it's attained from your love and dedication. And understand, there are folks already baiting for spots in NUPIC 2012. Wow! Now we are talking "End of the World Poetry!" You gotta love spirituality. Until NUPIC 2012.......
RACHEL MCKIBBENS, YOU BROUGHT THAT FIRE SHIT TO THE NUPIC FIRE-PIT! AND AMONGST A HOST OF FLAME-THROWERS, YOUR FIRE BURNED INTO OUR HEARTS MOST; ON AN EVENING WHEN ANYONE COULD'VE BEEN CHAMPION. ALAS' IT IS YOU THAT WE PROUDLY HOIST AS OUR 2011 CHAMPION. BE HUMBLE, REPRESENT OUR FAMILY WITH MAJESTY AND KNOW YOU EARNED THIS TITLE AND IT WAS GRANTED TO YOU BY OUR SLAM FAMILY AND YOUR PEERS.
