NPS formats by year

Is there a possibility of getting times for the mandatory orientations posted soon?  We are trying to book flights to WPB and want make sure we leave enough time to check in and attend a meeting.  Thanks Gents.

Hi All,
Why did we change it from last year?  Was there a concern over not having enough time?

This was last year's schedule:

TEAM REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN
All teams must check in at NPS headquarters to receive Poet passes, bags competition materials and to confirm participation in this year's contest.  Registration will take place on the 2nd floor of the Concourse Hotel at the following times ONLY:
Monday, Aug. 4
11 am - 1 pm
4:30 pm - 6 pm

Tuesday, Aug. 5
10 am - 1 pm
 
TEAM ORIENTATION
(Yes, it's mandatory.  For everyone.  Really.)
Every NPS team member and coach must participate in one of the 2008 Orientation sessions.  Please don't make us disqualify your team or any of its members because you decided to skip orientation. Okay?  Orientation will also take place on the 2nd floor of the Concourse Hotel:

Different-ish format question-- the team rotation IN bouts was changed at SM in Madison, but I my notes are in a big pile of many piles.
What's the new rotation?

Still 4x4 (4 teams in 4 rounds) with up to 5 people on a team.

Everyone who steps on stage must perform at least one poem they had primary authorship on.

Also, I have heard conflicting reports regarding the "no repeat rule. "

If anyone has any answers that would be greatly appreciated.

The tournament is 4x4 and poems can be repeated on the finals stage.

There has not been a change from last year.

So how many pieces will a team perform if they go all the way?

12 if they choose to repeat on finals, and 16 if they choose not to correct?

Correct.

And as always, primary authorship is in effect. Everyone who steps on stage during a bout must be represented during the bout with a piece they have written. More than one poet can have written one poem. If they wrote one line of that poem, that's not authorship.
