There was a gentleman out of Memphis several years ago named Thom Holcomb.
Anybody know how to get in touch with him?
I owe him a few thank you's.

This information is at least five years old:

he also goes by "Thom the World Poet"

Nope.  Thom the World Poet and Thom Holcomb are two different people.
