Three hundred and some odd dollars for a plane ticket to Charlotte from Dallas...96 dollars in gasoline there and back in my beautiful Puerto Rican wife's incredibly fuel efficient Honda Civic.  Don't think of it as 15 hours behind the wheel, think of it as 15 CDs I get to listen to.

Number 1: Sea Change by Beck, and who knows what the next 14 will be.

Amigo, true dat double true!  I may have to let the IPod shuffle for a while as well to break up the monotony.  I'm looking to get in Wednesday evening hopefully early enough to catch the Last Chance Slam, always one of the hottest events at IWPS!  I'm crashing with our homie Mighty Mike Mcgee Wednesday night but will be in the host hotel come Thursday.  I can't remember if it was you, Rock, or someone else who discovered the down home cookin' joint a couple of blocks from the host hotel at the '06 IWPS in Charlotte but come hell, highwater, or haiku, we gotta' eat there again.

After checking into the Holiday Inn, it was straight to Merts.  I concur with the MMMMMM.

You have to try the soul rolls-blackeyed peas, collard greens, and rice deep fried egg roll style
