I was SO close to catching up tonight before midnight.  In a few minutes the world is going to tack on another 1667 words to the debt.

I'm giving serious thought to taking a laptop on the road with me tomorrow since I'm not travelling alone.

i started nov 1st and ended nov 10th!
i hated myself every minute. blame it on
the slam season, dammit! im going to add everyone
as friends though, so i can live vicariously thru your
efforts :)

I am tucked away in a secret homebase in Arizona today so I am going to try my damndest to finish it or come close today.

11:09 PM November 30. I made it. TADA! No, you can't read this novel. It stinks. It's not done. It's self indulgent crap. But it's 50,000 words of self indulgent crap and it is MY crap. TADA!

Woods made it too! At something like 11:58 pm.

I''ve started back and have done a little polishing and re-writing of the fist dozen pages or so and it's starting to look like something. But it is still so coarse I'd be embarrassed. In 2005 when I finished, I said hooray and put it away and haven't looked at it since. This one is a little different. I might still keep massaging it a little now and then.

I'm setting up my nanowrimo account right now and wanted to add each of you as a writing buddy. Please feel free to add me too. I am stevedmarsh and I think I'm working on a memoir, not necessarily a novel. Of course, those of you who have done this stuff before know that the intent on October 30 may not actually match the results on December 1.
