Poets are awarded points in slam competition.
1st place = 3 points
2nd place = 2 points
All others who sign up and finish slam received 1 point
Must have 4 points to compete for WOWPS spot.
Must have 8 points to compete for Team spots
Must have 4 points to compete for IWPS spot
For 2008, Word Dancing will have a four person team determined by competition. This team will decide whether they would like to bring the fifth ranked person as an alternate. We will exhaust our list of competitors from the Finals Slam in order to send a team to NPS.
Individual events are voided if the winner decides to drop out or cannot attend.
