Testers Wanted!

I have jumped the final hurdle for integration of the user data, and now I just need some folks to test it out.


If you have a moment, go here:  http://dev.poetryslam.com  and login to the FRONT page using your FORUM login.  Then go to the forum button and see if you are still logged in to your account, and if all is well.

Also, try adding things to your shopping cart, logging in and out a few times, and generally trying to break it.

Please report your findings in this thread.  If all go well, I'll roll that over to the production server this weekend.

Delete any cookies from poetryslam.com

I deleted cookies for poetryslam.com and still was unable to login using my forum username and password

Ok, I made a change, try now.

I was unable to login. I deleted cookies and tried again and was told my user name and password were not correct. I did have to log into the forums again afterwards.

All my accounts work, even ones I never use, and my testing ones.

Delrica, do you have an AIM account and some time to spare, this is going to take some quick trial and error.

My forum password and PoetrySlam.com password differ, but I use the same username.  I still cannot get this to work.

Hey, I just ran into a problem in the store.

Trying to update my PSI membership (here: http://poetryslam.com/index.php?page=checkout.index&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=29), it won't let me proceed to the checkout screen as a new user because my e-mail address is already registered.

Okay, fair enough. But when it completed the message explaining that, the top of the screen had a pink banner telling me to click the "forgot my password" link to have my password sent to me.

That link doesn't seem to be available on the store page, only on the front page. I definitely recommend that it be added to the store pages.

The good news is that I had my password e-mailed to me and got my membership renewed, but it took some hunting to make it work.
