The National Poetry Slam will welcome poets to the cities of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville starting on Monday, August 12. Competition will begin on Tuesday, August 13 and continue through Saturday, August 17.

Karrie Waarala of Ypsilanti Michigan is the new Executive Director of Poetry Slam, Inc. The Executive Council of PSi welcomes Ms Waarala to her new position, and we are very excited to have her bring her wealth of experience to Poetry Slam, Inc.
